Have you yet seen henna design? It’s merely captivating as an art form. It’s used in society as a accepted way to produce natural tattoos that are temporary by nature. It harnesses the power of nature and produce beautiful man made results in the form of temporary tattoos.

Natural henna ink is use for henna tattoos. It is made from a powder that is derivative from the henna plant’s leaves. This powder is made into a paste that is use in the henna ink. Just like with genuine ink tattoos that are more permanent, your tattoo artist can paint a henna tattoo design anywhere on your body on your body that you would like.

The henna plant is thought to come from Egypt where it was call Egyptian Privet. Afterward henna was brought to India as a state gift from the Egyptians. Queen Mumtaz who ruled in the 1600’s was the first Indian queen to be bedecked with henna. Today, it is regular to find artists practicing their henna crafts outside the Taj Mahal, which was built to honor Queen Mumtaz. Traces of henna have been establish on mummies from 1200 BC. It is also known that Pharaohs hands and feet were first curved in henna prior to mummification.

Henna is one of the most excellent alternatives to permanent color and is much in demand for its cosmetic value. Henna tattoos are made from henna paste that is shaped from ground green henna leaves, mixed with water and other natural products. The paste, when applied to the skin or the hair, leaves a color that can differ from orange to rich mahogany, depending on the quality of the henna being used. A major cause for henna’s growing popularity is that its color is temporary and fades away with time and washing.

I happened to notice the henna design as I was walking around the fair trying to detain the color of all that I saw. I saw two women sitting on the on ground and was totally engrossed in their task. When I moved closer, I saw that it was a henna artist and that she was applying one of the finest henna designs I have ever witness.

A note of caution relating to henna is the use of a product labeled as “black henna” or an indigo. The natural do not come in dark shades. The dark colors are in fact made by combining henna with a chemical. There can be very harsh side effects such as skin blistering. As with any manufactured goods, even a natural one, there can be allergic reactions. This is predominantly true if the individual has a rare genetic condition called a G6PD deficiency. In huge doses the dye molecule in henna can be fatal.
The most attractive characteristic that makes henna temporary tattoos a fashion statement is that they are pure and herbal in nature. People favor to buy henna also because of its known cooling and medicinal properties as an anti-irritant and anti-inflammatory herb. Other type of temporary tattoos includes some form of chemicals and ink that can harm the skin and lead to allergies.

It’s the perfect practice way to find your online gallery tattoo, have it airbrushed on, then wears it around for a while and decides if it’s worthy to get permanently inked. If not, you can forever go through and find different designs in the gallery to get airbrushed until you find the one that looks and feels right.

Many people want a tattoo but find themselves either unsure as to whether or not they want their body decorated permanently or they do not want to undergo the pain associated with tattoo machines. A henna tattoo is a grand alternative to the more mainstream tattooing and it is not permanent. This ancient art form has become much more mainstream gratitude to a revival in Indian and Asian influenced designs.

Have you ever looked intimately at a henna design? The attention to detail is just amazing. These designs are rich and vivacious with color. Artists that create these designs are always conceited to show you there work. Just demand to see a portfolio of designs and the artist is more than happy to show off their beautiful work. You can also decide from one of these designs and have in tattooed on any part of your body, although the most common body parts fro henna are hands and feet.

One of the reimbursements of Henna is that it is a natural product. As such there is a grand leeway for experimentation in design. Traditional designs do not have to be used and there are a lot of kits available that include design patterns. Tattoo removal is merely the skin replenishing the cells and forcing the dye out of the body. There are tattoo studios that do present permanent designs that resemble the henna tattoo. These tattoos are put into place with the typical tattoo machines but use a red dye that will remain eternal.
Thanks to more and more celebrities embracing Eastern culture, the sway has reached far into Western ideas and images of exotic beauty and continues to enjoy a rise in popularity.

If you’re new to tattoos and want to notice what one would look like on you, why not try an airbrush tattoo?

Airbrush tattoos are painted on the skin much in the way that airbrushed T-shirts are prepared. Using a CO2 sprayer, a stencil, and particularly formulated paint, a person can apply a design that looks convincingly like a permanent tattoo in just a few minutes.

Accessibility: You can almost certainly find someone locally to apply an airbrush tattoo. Try a carnival, at the beach, or in a beauty salon. There may also be a local independent artist who brings gear and flash to parties or other functions. Look for them in your yellow pages or by searching online. You can also buy your own appliance kit and apply tattoos yourself.

Online vendors of airbrush tattoo kits claim that the process is very simple to learn. The price for equipment and supplies vary from around $300 for simple starter kits to several thousand dollars for professional equipment for use in a little business. There are yet kits meant for young girls that cost as little as $20. Numerous colors of paint and instructional materials (book, CD, or video) are usually included in the price.

Suppliers of paint and supplies frequently have hundreds of stencils to choose from as well. Some places sell single-use stencils that adhere to the skin and are peeled off and discarded following use. If you are a decent artist, you may also want to make your own.

PART 2.

The new millennium has brought with it a constantly rising demand for a new tattoo related procedure, sometimes vaguely referred to as permanent makeup. For the tattoo artist, this can be an extremely financially positive new rave, but at the same time, it can be quite frightening. The frightening end of the process comes with the understanding that the parts of the body that these procedures take place on are very sensitive areas, such as the eyelids and the lips.

The real purpose of this technique is to tattoo on certain shades of ink so that the target subject appears to be wearing makeup at all times. This saves a vast amount of time for the person getting the permanent makeup; however, the only drawback of it is that it is not removable. As with most tattoos, there more often than not are no second chances. If you are allowing for this procedure, think long and hard before taking this step as there is no turning back.

In spite of of the bodily target location of this new aspect of tattooing, the wise artist will definitely learn the tricks of the trade, as the demand for permanent makeup is growing by leaps and bounds and there is not an abundance of studios that currently offer it. To start with, the artist will need to gather supplies for learning this art. These supplies are usually available through most large-scale tattoo supply distributor, such as Worldwide Tattoo Supply, Joe Kaplan Tattoo Supplies, Tattoo XP and Needle Jack Tattoo supply. Finding the supplies should not be a matter.

Before tattoo artists permanently ink their clients’ skin they use a stencil as a guideline for each part of body art. Whether a stencil is created by mechanical means or drawn by hand, both need specific supplies.

Pace 1
Install photograph editing software, such as Adobe Photoshop or Corel Paint Shop Pro, on your computer. Use this software to manipulate a tattoo design, such as resizing to desired dimensions or removing the color since you only require the outline. Dash it through a printer to create a stencil.

Pace 2
Purchase the right printer. A Thermo fax (thermal copier) printer or a Dot Matrix (impact) printer can move a design from a computer to a sheet of stencil paper.

Pace 3
Use Spirit Master Stencil Paper to convert tattoo designs into stencils. Whether you use a machine or hand draw a stencil, this paper creates a carbon copy of the plan which you can transfer to skin. Run Sprit paper through either of the printers from Pace 2 or trace the design onto the paper using any standard drawing pencil.

Pace 4
Obtain hectograph pencils. For hand drawn stencils, use hectograph pencils to draw a design onto regular tracing paper. Place a piece of tracing paper over the top of a tattoo design and trace the outline with a purple hectograph pencil to generate a stencil like those created with Spirit paper.

Pace 5
Make changes; darken lost lines or freehand extra details with a Skin Scribe Surgical Marker. These sterile markers have non-toxic Gentian Violet ink that stays visible during the outlining procedure once dry. These pens work well for smoke or flames used in background that artists choose to freehand so they match both the main tattoo design and contours of the client’s body.

Pace 6
Buy the tattoo stencil supplies. Thermo fax machines are hard to find, but frequently are obtainable at online auction sites such as eBay and Dot Matrix printers can be purchased new from Okidata and Epson. Most tattoo supply companies sell Spirit paper, hectograph pencils, Skin Scribe markers and may have second-hand or refurbished Thermo fax machines. Spirit paper and hectograph pencils are at times also available from local art supply stores and Skin Scribe markers at medical supply stores. Photo editing software can be found wherever you usually purchase software.

Even though many tattoo artists pride themselves in their “freehand” work, some prefer to use a guide while tattooing to ensure the best result. The stencil is one of these gear.

Function
The stencil’s purpose in tattooing is straightforward: It serves as a lead to the artist. He will tattoo above the lines of the stencil. This ensures distant straighter and accurate line work than most could do freehand; it also limits mistakes. The stencil ink will rinse away in a few days. However, often it is invisible instantly, as the ink completely covers it.

Types
At present are two types of stencils: artist-designed and commercial. Artist-designed stencils are characteristically made of work previously done by the artist (although some will sit and draw general designs for their clients to look at as examples of their ability), and are typically more unique than your normal tattoo. Commercial stencils consist of typically hundreds of common designs for artists to use. Typically, these are used as guides and are altered by the artist to fit the needs of the customer.

Usage
To use the stencil, a replica of the tattoo is typically made on a copier, where it is sized down (or up) to the customer’s liking. From there, it is taken to a particular machine that makes a copy with ink that can be transferred to the skin. Gel is applied to the skin and the stencil applies. The stencil is now prepared to be used to begin the tattoo.

Misconceptions
A stencil is not “flash.” Tattoo flash refers to the complete tattoo design, including color. The stencil is the expression used for the line work only, and is the basis for all tattoos. The coloring and shading is completed freehand.

Considerations
When using stencils and flash, particularly commercial material, the person getting the tattoo should not expect her tattoo to be unique. If uniqueness is desired, having the artist design a piece specifically to the user’s liking should be strongly considered.

One of the most significant tools a tattooist uses is the power supply. A tattoo artist must study which brand and type to get as well as how to properly use and care for it to prevent harm to his clients.
Function
A tattoo power supply is intended to drive a needle that will inject ink into the dermis (the second layer) of a person’s skin. If the ink does not go deep enough the tattoo will fade effortlessly and the end result will be poor. If the ink is injected too deeply it will be impose pain on the client. Knowing how to set the power supply so that it drives the needle just deep enough is a fundamental skill for the tattooist, as is being able to adjust the power supply so that the needle moves quickly enough to avoid dragging across the skin as the tattoo artist is working.
Types
There are numerous different tattoo power supplies on the market today. They can cost as slight as $40 or as much as several hundred, depending on the brand of power supply and the options available. If a tattooist wants to have more control over the movement of the needle, he will need to get a power supply that allow for controlling the voltage, generally with a knob. Voltage, speed, follow-through and duty are all options that can be controlled on the extra expensive tattoo power supplies, and they are projected to be used in any country without worry over the voltage changes that can plague other appliances. Some power supplies also come with foot pedals and clip cords, but these regularly have to be purchased separately.
Misconceptions
It is commonly believed by those who are just getting into tattooing as a business that most power supplies are identical and that the cheaper ones will do just fine. This is not necessarily the case, however, as the fewer expensive machines generally offer fewer options for control of the depth and speed of the needle. This can effect in too much pain for the client and ink that is not deep enough and therefore fades quickly. The skin can also be torn by tattooists who overwork the tattoo, and that usually comes from going reverse over the tattoo too many times, which can be a product of a power supply that does not adjust well and drags across the skin.

If you’re going to get a tattoo and have chosen out the line drawing you want, you may be wondering how the artist transfers the drawing to your skin safely. Luckily, there’s a very easy method involving tattoo transfer paper that is safe and is pain free.

Pace 1
Run the line drawings during a thermo graphic transfer maker or a thermal-fax to get an exact duplicate of the drawing. From time to time people call these carbon copies.

Pace 2
Demonstrate the drawing to your client to make sure it’s what they want. Verify any changes they want to make to the drawing.

Pace 3
Dampen the skin where you want to position the tattoo with either soap and water or stick deodorant.

Pace 4
Put the thermo graphic transfer paper onto the dampened skin and press gently. Do not permit the paper to shift or the drawing won’t transfer properly. If it does shift, you’ll have to eliminate the ink and start over.

Pace 5
Peel the paper off the skin, gently. If done properly, the line drawing is now on the skin in a bluish-purplish ink that will eventually wash off.

Pace 6
Ensure with your client again to make sure the drawing is in the correct location and is the correct size.

Pace 7
Begin tattooing, following the line drawing.

Types
Tattoo needles are essentially a type of pin. They are solid and move forward, not inject, ink into the pores. The needles used are usually in a group called sharps and attached to a needle bar. They have name such as, single, liner, flat, magnum and shader. The needles are in group of three, five, seven or more based on what the artist is drawing.

Liner
The liner tattoo needles form the outline of the design that will be located on the skin. These rounded needles infiltrate the skin and put in the ink. They are in addition called “round” needles. They can be used alone or on a bar with several other sharps. It is only hardly ever that one needle is used for the whole outline. In general at least three needles are are needed, but sometimes there can be as many as nine.

Shader
The inside of the tattoo is packed in with color by the shader or shading needles. There may also be more than nine unusual forms of these tools, especially if the work is very intricate. This kind of needle, sometimes called a magnum, comes in a double row. The shading adds a practical look and creativity.

Tattoo Gun
Some tattooists do all their labor by hand. Others use a tattoo gun. The base of the gun looks like a handle and include two coils of wire that act like a spring. It is attach to the needle arm. It moves up and down surrounded by the sanitary tube, which holds the ink and needles. When the trigger is pushed, the needles move far enough down to penetrate the dermis, or second and thickest layer of skin, and make a hole. The sanitary tubes sucks up the ink, loads it into the needles and then push it into these holes.

Disposal
Some tattoo artists use not reusable needles. Others reuse the similar ones. They are sterilized in a machine called an autoclave, which kills germs with steam and elevated temperatures. The used substance are first cleansed of all blood and ink and then placed into a sterilization pack. These go into the autoclave. If your tattoo artist use non-disposable needles, ask to see how the needles are sterilized. If the artist only uses throwaway needles, make sure that they are damaged and thrown into an approved hazardous waste container when the tattooing is complete.
